Early Detection Saves Lives: The Importance of Regular Skin Checks

Local Mildura resident Corey O'Callaghan recently had a skin scan. The scan identified an area of concern, which required a biopsy for further investigation. The results confirmed melanoma, and subsequently needed to take a wider margin to have the melanoma removed.

The experience highlights the importance of regular skin checks, early detection and seeking medical advice about any changing or suspicious spots.
