Growing up on an island in Nova Scotia, Mary Beth’s journey to becoming a doctor and then finding her way to Sydney from Canada and then eventually to Mildura via Broken Hill, where she worked with the Royal Flying Doctors Service, she and her husband are now happily settled in Mildura for the long term
As you will also hear, Mary Beth is passionate about encouraging young people to become GPs in rural areas and her educational programs and the approach taken at MBPH is shaped around improving retention of the clinical workforce.
